Richards Roots was born from the rich traditions of the Caribbean — a place where bold flavours and natural sweetness are a way of life. Founder Shane Richards grew up in St. Catherine, Jamaica, where the land is lush, the food is bold, and every meal tells a story passed down through generations.

When Shane travelled to Calgary, Alberta, he brought those roots with him. Determined to share the flavors of home with his new community, Richards Roots was created — a brand built on heritage, crafted with fire, and made with love.

From our signature Whipped Honeys in Hibiscus, Ginger, and Cinnamon, to our bold Brown Sugar Jerk BBQ Sauce, savoury Marinade, fiery Honey Hot Lzy Rub, and zesty Lemon Pepper — every product is a tribute to the Jamaican traditions that shaped us, blended with the spirit of our Canadian home.
